This site has no account system and no newsletter signup. The only ways your data reaches us are the ones listed here.

• What you type into the enquiry form. Your name, email address, and — if you choose to fill them in — your company, project type, budget range, and message. We use these solely to answer your enquiry.
• Usage analytics. We count page views using a cookieless analytics tool. It sets no cookies, stores no identifiers on your device, and does not follow you across other websites, so it cannot be used to identify you.
• Server logs. Our host records the usual technical request data — IP address, user agent, referring page, timestamp, and the URL requested. This happens automatically for every website and is needed to serve pages and defend against abuse.
• Theme preference.If you switch between light and dark mode, that choice is stored in your browser's local storage. It never leaves your device and we cannot read it.
• Email you send us. The buttons on this site open your own mail client. If you write to us, we process whatever you choose to put in that message so we can reply.

We do not use advertising cookies, we do not build profiles, and we do not sell or share personal data with third parties for their own purposes.

• Enquiry form — taking steps at your request prior to entering a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). Kept for as long as we are in contact about the work, and then for as long as we need it for our own records.
• Server logs — our legitimate interest in operating a secure, functioning website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Retained for a short period by our host, then deleted or aggregated.
• Analytics — our legitimate interest in understanding which pages are useful (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Aggregate only; nothing is stored on your device, which is why this site shows no cookie banner.
• Email correspondence — taking steps at your request prior to entering a contract, or our legitimate interest in answering enquiries (Art. 6(1)(b) and 6(1)(f) GDPR). Kept as long as needed to handle your enquiry and meet any record-keeping obligations.
• Theme preference — a strictly necessary functional setting stored on your device, not personal data we hold.

• Vercel Inc. — website hosting and content delivery. Processes request data (including IP addresses) to deliver this site. Their privacy policy.
• Vercel Web Analytics — aggregate page-view counts. Cookieless, with no cross-site tracking.
• Resend — delivers enquiry-form submissions to our inbox. Their privacy policy.

Where a provider processes data outside the European Economic Area, that transfer is covered by the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or an equivalent safeguard.

Typefaces are downloaded at build time and served from our own domain. Your browser makes no request to Google Fonts or any other third-party font service when you view this site, so no data is shared with them.

Under the GDPR you can ask us to confirm what personal data we hold about you and to give you a copy; to correct it if it is wrong; to delete it; to restrict how we use it; to provide it in a portable format; and to stop processing carried out on the basis of legitimate interests.

To exercise any of these, email hello@brevence.com. We will respond within one month. If you think we have handled your data badly, you can also complain to your local data protection supervisory authority.

If we add anything that changes how data is processed — a new tool, a booking system, a different provider — we will update this page and change the date at the top before it goes live.
